Bouclé Weddings grew from the love of two people who, while planning their own wedding, discovered what they were meant to do: help others do the same.
Our story
Bouclé Weddings was born long before it had a name. It began when we planned our own wedding and discovered, almost without looking for it, that there was something in that process that made us feel exactly where we were meant to be. We loved imagining, deciding, organising, caring for the details and building a day that couldn’t have belonged to anyone else.
But we also understood something that would shape everything that came after: planning a wedding is not just about finding a venue, choosing suppliers or styling a beautiful table. It is about accompanying two people through a moment full of excitement, questions, decisions and expectations. It is about making the journey to the wedding feel as carefully considered as the day itself.
From that understanding of weddings, Bouclé was born. We didn’t want a large studio, but a thoughtful, honest and personal way of working, where every couple felt accompanied at every step, from the first conversation to the very end of the celebration. More than a hundred and twenty weddings later, that idea is still the foundation of everything we do.
Today, Bouclé is a team of nine people working across some of Spain’s most special destinations: Mallorca, Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia. Each of our planners lives in the city where they plan weddings, and that changes everything. Knowing a place is not just about knowing which venues exist: it is about understanding its rhythm, its suppliers, its timings, its possibilities and also its unexpected turns.
Although every couple has a planner who accompanies them closely throughout the process, there is always a team behind every wedding. We share ideas, review decisions, compare options and design each celebration from a shared point of view. Working like this lets us stay close without everything depending on a single person, and care for each wedding with more perspective, more craft and more calm.
We work with a limited number of weddings each year because we believe real attention needs time: time to listen, to think, to design with meaning and to make decisions that don’t follow a formula, but the story of each couple.
