Why marry in Mallorca

Everyone knows Mallorca for the sun. What makes it a wedding destination is everything underneath that — a UNESCO mountain range, fincas worked for centuries, and a coastline that turns gold at dinner, all within two to three hours of most of Europe.

01

The landscapes

One island, several very different weddings: the Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage range; the stone villages of Deià and Valldemossa; the working fincas of the interior; and the sea around Pollença and the south.

02

The season

Weddings run from May to October. May, June and September bring warm light and calmer venues; high summer is brighter and busier. We help you choose the window that suits your day.

03

More than one day

Mallorca is built for celebrations that last longer than an afternoon — a welcome dinner among the vines, the day itself at a private finca where everyone stays, a slow lunch the morning after. Your guests don't just attend; they spend a few days on the island with you.

04

Getting here

Palma flies direct to most major European cities, so guests arrive without connections — and once they land, mountains, sea and old towns are all within about an hour.

About Bouclé

The team
behind your
wedding.

Bouclé began with Estela and Dani's own wedding, and has grown into a team of nine planners based across Spain — in Mallorca, Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia. Together, we've planned more than 120 weddings, each one different.

Our presence on the island lets us guide you with real knowledge of Mallorca — its fincas, its suppliers, its rhythm, and the small choices that make a wedding flow instead of simply happen.

Whether you already know where you want to get married or you're still deciding, you'll be guided by a team that understands Mallorca from within.

How it works

Simple
from the
first message.

Three steps. No complicated process. Just a conversation to start.

01

Tell us about your wedding

Send us a short message through our enquiry form: your date if you have one, the part of Mallorca you're drawn to — or whether you're still deciding — and the kind of wedding you have in mind. Just enough for us to understand where you are.

02

We send you our guide and schedule a call

Once we receive your enquiry, we'll send you our wedding guide with more information about how we work, our services and pricing. From there, we'll suggest a few times for a video call, or you can share the times that work best for you. Wherever you are in the world, we'll always do our best to adapt.

03

We start planning

After the call, if you decide to move forward, we begin the planning process together. We define the next priorities, guide the design direction, coordinate suppliers and build a clear path towards your wedding day.

You'll receive our wedding guide, services and pricing within 24 hours.

Common
Questions

Everything couples ask before planning a wedding in Mallorca.

Yes. Most of our couples plan their Mallorca wedding from abroad. We guide the process through scheduled video calls and email, while our team coordinates venues, suppliers, design and logistics locally on the island. When you visit, we can accompany you to key venue appointments and guide those decisions with local insight.

Yes. We regularly work with English-speaking couples from abroad who want to get married in Mallorca. Our team guides the planning process in English and coordinates with local venues and suppliers on the island on your behalf.

If you're planning from abroad, it makes all the difference — and it's worth clearing up a common confusion: a venue coordinator and a wedding planner are not the same thing. A venue coordinator works for the venue — they make sure the venue's own staff do their job and the space is set up, and they often aren't there for the whole celebration. A wedding planner works for you: your suppliers, your design, your timeline and your budget, from the first decision to the last dance. We make sure the day you imagined is the day that actually happens.

Yes. We help you define the type of venue that truly fits your celebration — a countryside finca, a coastal estate or a private villa — shortlist suitable options and guide the first decisions with local insight. We consider style, guest flow, logistics, supplier access and the overall atmosphere. You can see real weddings across the island in our portfolio.

For non-residents, a civil marriage in Spain generally requires residency, so most international couples complete the legal marriage at home and hold a symbolic ceremony in Mallorca — which gives full freedom over the location and style of the day. A Catholic ceremony can be legally recognised, with its own paperwork. We're not a legal service, but we'll explain how it usually works and point you to the right people early on — so the legal side is handled where it should be, and your day in Mallorca is purely the celebration.

Our full planning and design service includes venue guidance, supplier recommendations and coordination, creative direction, design, budget guidance, timeline planning, guest logistics and wedding-day coordination. We bring everything together so the process feels clear, calm and beautifully organised.

For a destination wedding in Mallorca we recommend starting around 12 to 18 months ahead. The best fincas and suppliers book up early, especially for peak season from May to October, so the sooner you begin, the more freedom you have over date, venue and team. If your timeline is shorter, talk to us anyway — we'll tell you honestly what's realistic.

There's no single figure — it depends on your guest count, venue, season and the kind of celebration you have in mind. Once you reach out, we give you honest, personalised budget guidance by email, specific to your plans — not a generic estimate. You get a realistic picture for your wedding, not someone else's.

Yes. After your enquiry, we send our wedding guide with our services and pricing first, so you can understand how we work and which option may fit your plans before arranging a video call.

The season runs from May to October. Late spring (May to June) and early autumn (September to October) are the sweet spots — warm but not scorching, beautiful light and fewer crowds. July and August are hotter and busier. We help you choose a date that balances weather, venue availability and your guests' travel.

All of the island. We plan weddings across Mallorca — from the fincas of the Tramuntana and the countryside around Pollença, to coastal estates in the southwest and venues near Palma. Wherever on the island your celebration takes place, our local team coordinates it.

Yes. Many Mallorcan venues — especially historic fincas and those near residential areas — have local noise regulations, and music often has to move indoors after a set time, usually around midnight, though some venues allow later. We factor this into your venue choice and timeline from the start, so the night runs the way you imagined.
